INNATE BEHAVIOUR This is a cute video but it’s also really interesting as it shows innate behavior. By innate we mean it’s a genetically programmed behavior that doesn’t have to learned. They don’t have to be taught it or see another dog do it, they just KNOW how to do it. Innate behaviours in dogs are generally ones that are crucial for life: caring behaviours (looking after puppies), hunting behaviours etc but also as you can see here- play is too!
