A Biophysical Profile Profile (BPP) is a test done in the third trimester to assess fetal well-being. The baby is given a score out of eight, with each of the criteria being a 2 if the criteria is meant or a zero if it is not. The lower the BPP score, the more concern there is for fetal well-being.
