The Supreme Court cleared the way for California to use its newly redrawn congressional map, shifting five seats in Democrats’ favor, in the 2026 midterm elections.

Investigators with the Pima County Sheriff's Department returned to Nancy Guthrie's home on Wednesday.

The map, drawn by Democratic lawmakers, gives the Democratic Party an opportunity to pick up as many as five House seats amid a nationwide redistricting push.
